This cycle tour invites you to follow the meandering course of the Saône between Chalon-sur-Saône and Verdun-sur-le-Doubs. Easy and pleasant, the route passes through a mosaic of landscapes typical of the Saône valley: rivers, wet meadows, unspoilt natural areas and charming villages such as Crissey, Gergy and Allerey-sur-Saône.
As the kilometres go by, you'll be able to enjoy numerous views of the river, marinas and natural areas rich in biodiversity. Verdun-sur-le-Doubs, at the confluence of the Saône and Doubs rivers, is a charming riverside town renowned for its heritage, lively quaysides and local gastronomy.
