This communal washhouse, designed for 18 washerwomen, was built in 1829, according to the plans of the Chalonnais architect Zolla. It is covered with a lava roof resting on a stone vault. Its "bean" shape is unique in Burgundy. Great harmony of curves and ellipses reflected in the basin. The washhouse was restored between 2001 and 2010 by international volunteer workcamps under the aegis of REMPART.
