Le Mont Avril

A must-see view not to be missed. Mont Avril is located in the communes of Moroges, Jambles and Saint-Désert at an altitude of 421 metres. Its position as an isolated hillock offers a general view of the Creusot-Montceau region (rolling countryside dominated by forest and hedged farmland), the Côte Chalonnaise (vineyards and limestone grasslands) and the Bresse depression (crops and forests).
The walk starts at Cercot, at the junction of Rue de la Paulée and Rue du Chétif Quart.
