Jully-les-Buxy

Jully-lès-Buxy is one of the four communes with the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Montagny. This beautiful wine-producing village built in an amphitheatre on the slope of a low hillside is crossed by the Voie Verte, and has many marked trails. The Balade Verte circuit "De la forêt au coteau" (From the forest to the hillside) follows the slopes of the Montagny vineyard and allows you to discover the village as well as that of Saint-Vallerin. Worth seeing in the hamlet of Ponneau, is a 15th century chateau (listed as a historical monument, private property, cannot be visited) and its chapel located on a hillock in front of the chateau. The château de la Guiche is a wine-growing estate. The chateau of Jully is managed by the "Petits Frères des Pauvres" (Little Brothers of the Poor) for vacation stays and temporary accommodation.
