3 km west of Buxy, the old Burgundian village of Montagny-lès-Buxy is built on top of an amphitheatre of vines. The church of Saint-Vincent de Montagny-lès-Buxy has a bay under a bell tower, possibly of Romanesque origin, an 18th century choir, a nave and a 19th century sacristy. The chevet wall has preserved a stucco altarpiece from the 17th century: a curved pediment linked to two fluted pilasters with Ionic capitals. The old furniture has also been preserved: a Christ on the cross placed in the center, framed by a statue of Our Lady and Child (18th century) and a statue of Saint Vincent, the patron saint as a deacon (17th century), in polychrome wood.
