A majestic start in Cormatin: Before lacing up your boots, let yourself be seduced by the elegance of Cormatin, famous for its castle and its green setting.

The spiritual stopover at Chapaize: Along the way, the route takes you through the charming village of Chapaize. This is an opportunity to admire its two emblematic Romanesque churches, a true testament to the Cluniac influence in the region.

A panoramic ascent to Brancion: The route gradually rises to reach an altitude of 360 metres. Each step brings you closer to the medieval town of Brancion, perched on its rocky outcrop.

Arrival in a village full of character: The stage comes to an apotheosis in Brancion. As you pass through the gates of this listed site, you'll be transported back in time: the fortified castle, old covered market and 12th-century church offer a breathtaking view over the Grosne valley.
