Santilly

Located on the Route des Grands Vins, between the Voie Verte and the Grosne, near Saint-Gengoux-le-National, Santilly is a pretty village essentially dedicated to agriculture, livestock and wine growing. The landscape is enhanced by the presence of a beautiful Romanesque church Saint-Victor of the XIIth century whose semicircular apse is covered with a lava stone roof. The nave has a wooden vaulted roof in the shape of an inverted ship's hull in the style of the Cluny flour maker. To discover Santilly and its surroundings, you must follow the Balade Verte called "Val de Grosne" (Grosne Valley) which goes by the nearby Voie Verte in the direction of Saint-Gengoux-le-National and the chateau of Sercy.
